AFAIK this issue normally occurs when installing to a sata drive.
The first thing you guys could try is switch the sata mode to legacy ide in your bios. If this dosen't work and you've got an ide drive handy, try installing to that then use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy the drive to your sata.
@ maati1980, According to the release notes for Leo4All4.1 you should select the Nforce67 chipset drivers when installing for the MCP67 chipset. I would think this would have been injected into the dvd already so i'm not sure why you can't format the partition. You should be able to get the install package out of the install disc for this if you need it.
