Folder Nuked While Trying to Update AMD Patcher!
I opened AMD Patcher from a folder I have on my external drive. It tells me I need to update. So I try to update and get a really long Applescript error. Figure it got confused and Force Quits it. Now everything in the folder except for Marvin's AMD Utility is GONE. Which means I lost my SB700.kext backup, my Taruga patcher, a bunch of update installers, and the AMD Patcher itself.
Yeah, now I can just forget installing 10.5.6 because if it gets bricked I don't have the kexts to reinstall or pay $100 for some recovery app.
Good thing I didn't run it in the Applications folder!

You should have completely read the post dedicated to AMD Patcher ... I prevented that a HUGE bug prevented the update with the version which you use ...

Its okay I didn't read the post and had my patcher in the apps folder . But yeah check the post about the patcher as it should mention potential problems & other useful information.
