Freeze Problem by Installing&Downloading

I'm on Reatil 10.5.7 mit Chameleon 2.0RC1 now. Everythings works fine but...
When i'm downloading big files (for example Garage Band 1GB Update) then my PC freezes and i have to hard reset it.

What have i done before:

1. Boot by Boot CD
- First tries with - Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3_ISO v2 (P965 chipset): http://www.mediafire.com/?1rw5fnxdmtg (by Sabr) or
- More tries with - Another Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3_ISO : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...st&p=819870(by CheN NiaN)
2. Install of Retail CD 10.5 (Guid Partition)
3. Start of Retail Installation (With Boot CD)
4. Updatet to 10.5.7 by Software Update
5. Installed Chameleon 2.0RC1
6. Grafik & Audio Installtion
7. Rebbot again
8. "Everything" works fine until i download this 1GB Update. The same happens by installing "World of Warcraft". At 33% the same appears...Hard Reset!

It would be great if someone could help!

It is possibly an issue with hard drive controller drivers.

Take a look at this thread and see if it helps:-

Thx for this thread. It solves my problem in the way that i know it is was problem of my 6GB Ram. Now i'm waiting for the threadstarter to tell me which file(s) i should take und until he tells me my PC runs with 2 GB Ram. With 2GB Ram inside erverythings works fine at the moment.
