Disabler.kext and IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext have the same function... to disable the IntelCPUPowerManagement.kext file that Apple installs in their 10.5.5 update which causes kernel panics on AMD machines (maybe some Intel ones too, not sure though). The new Voodoo kernel (version 1.0 rev A) has a built-in auto-disabler for this kext so if you simply use this kernel you don't need to install the either disabler file. |
