i dont think i understand what you have said here
the laptop is a Compaq presario CQ45 108tx

when i boot with -v it says alot of stuff then
in yellow it says "failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort"
then it says "couldn't alloc class appleAhci" then it says some other stuff and after that it stops at "still waiting for root device" |
