Just a quick note before i start: i am a complete newbie when it comes to macs but wanted to see what os x was like.

so i looked around and downloaded iatkos v7.

Now the problem I am having is when I boot the dvd it boots fine to the bootloader. i type -v (also tryed -v cpus=1) then it comes up with an error which i have attached.

I am not sure what it is but I hope someone can point me in the right direction and BIG thanks in advance!

Try installing again but be sure you select "nforce sata/ide" under System---Sata/ide

thanks for the reply chinasky but this happens before it gets to the gui/setup. i am totally stumped.

hey can anyone tell me if i any version of iatkos will work on my computer? i tried installing it, everything is good until it finishes the setup and restarts.

when it restarts it goes into the mac os x but never gets to it.

it just gives me an error saying that something went wrong, and restarts again
