I am going to describe the sequence of events as it may help someone guide me in the right direction. I feel like I am close to getting this. Using the iAtkos V7 10.5.7 distro, I installed the following drivers, including what has already been check marked as default by iAtkos:

I then restart the computer and boot off of the hard drive and most of the time I can usually boot right into the OS using one of the following boot flag commands: "-v cpus=1" or "-v cpus=2." This doesn't always work but most of the time in the initial boot (first time ever trying) it does. From here, I have a fully working OS (sound, network, optical, ram, video...etc). The only thing I can see lacking is the number of cores recognized. As noted, I have a quad core but it only recognizes one or two, depending on the boot flag I used during start up (e.g. cpus=1 or cpus=2). All seems well and good until I reboot. Once I reboot, the system will panic again with the same exact panic output described above. At this point, I cannot get back into the OS even with the boot flag commands cpus=1 or cpus=2.
So, my question is two-fold, first, how do I address the panic message posted above? Second, which may be contingent upon the first question, how do I enable 4 cores instead of two?
Help is appreciated. Keep in mind I am a novice with OSx86 so you may have to spell everything out for me.
