iAtkos v7 MAC OSX 10.5.7

Im having problems getting this to run on my laptop. I have a thinkpad T500, 4 gb ram, 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo, 256 mb ATI RADEON HD graphics card. And Ive seen posts saying people have got it working on the lenovo T400 and T500 laptops.

Im trying to dual boot with WINDOWS 7 64 bit and this iAtkos v7 (OSX 10.5.7). Im using the chameleon v2 loader (ive tried all of them however), and after im done installing it reboots, I run GParted set the partition flag of the MAC OSX to boot and then reboot. Chameleon loader comes up, I choose OSX and then I see the apple on white screen with the loading circle going round and round. Then it just freezes on this screen. Ive reinstalled at least 10 times, sometimes it freezes before the loading thing starts going round and round, sometimes it doesnt freeze and then after 2 minutes the screen goes to a black and blue and white mess.

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 so I tried installing with the ATI HD drivers, also tried the intel string one, no luck.

So that doesnt work, but then my next problem is that everytime i install this when I try to boot windows 7 from the chameleon v2 loader, it says BOOTMGR MISSING. So to fix it I have to install a second copy of windows 7 overtop of the MAC OSX, then run with install CD and repair startup problems and then sometimes it works and osmetimes it doesnt.

But most importantly I want to get the MAC OSX to work.

if it goes to a blue black and white screen (looks like someone took cans of paint and threw them on my screen randomly everywhere) does that mean that the grapihcs or something isnt supported. This is on my laptop so theres nothing connected to my VGA out port on my laptop

have you tried, -v -f on the chameleon prompt? to see what is happening while it is booting?

Man, you are trying to boot from an external drive? It would boot yes, but slow, i suggest it to be on SATA internal. I think the problem is your graphics card... do you confirm that your graphics card is supported. Most people have troubles on ATI cards.

haha, yeah Im booting from my USB stick. Believe me I know, I had installed on my second partition of my internal hard drive but it messes up the boot manager for my windows 7 so this way until I find a way to get it to work I dont want to keep installing on my internal hard drive, Ill move it over once I get it working.

I dont know if my graphics card is supported but even if its not, wouldnt it still run, just onboard memory and processing not done by the graphics card.

Like I said ATI mobility HD Radeon 3650, Idk if its supported but this thing here http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/in...L_10.5.7#ATI_2 I see a Radeon HD 3650 256MB, not sure if thats for a desktop and mines for laptop only or what.

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=72765 these people say they got it installed and turned on at least, just some keyboard problems they said but I just cant get it to fully boot.

You could have just repaired the Windows bootloader using the installation disc. I do it all the time.
