Install 10.5.6 on 790FX/SB600 with Phenom 9830
Ok,I burned iPC 10.5.6 to DVD using ImgBurn.The img boots up under -v maxmem=2048 (cuz I have 4GB DDR 800
 ) and after it tells me that fire wire is active,it saing that it is "Still waiting for root device"... Is there anyway to overcome this?

Sounds like your SB600 is not supported by the iPC disc. Odd, because I could have sworn that SBxxx support was added to this distro?
OK, try booting with -v -x -F and see what you get. @dotzev I knew I remember reading something about SB600 support.
Im not familiar with a great deal of the distros out there but are there any alternative distros we can point him to? Or is he stuck waiting for iPC_PPF3? I did notice this. Try giving LawlessPPC 10.5.4 a try.
