Try removing it (the cable), and Booting. Put the kexts on a USB and install them in the OS if it boots, and then re-connect it...

ps. I got trough the installation, just to get a Waiting for boot device error...
I found a tutorial on how to edit the DVD and make it work, but it needs to be done ON A MAC (that's just crazy). Maybe if I get it in a VM, I may be able to fix it... Here is the tut:http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lof...p/t155868.html Mac enthusiast
