Looking at the log it seems you already have an storage driver (AppleNForceATA) that seems to work for your hardware as it is being loaded but for some reason it isnt finding any devices attached to the secondary controller thats maybe where you have the DVD drive connected to?
Check the device connections to the motherboard ports, so they are connected in the right order and properly jumpered. If that doesnt work you may try using a different connection DVD drive or installing from an USB drive. |

Ok, I tried about 30 combinations of SATA and ATA drives before I got it to install. It worked though, thanks for the help!
However, now whenever I try to open a dmg, I get a kernel panic. I've done what this thread says to do, but to no avail. Any suggestions? EDIT: I solved the problem. I just reinstalled and enabled the fix for mounting dmg files. It works now. Last edited by baseballer10p; 05-15-2009 at 02:51 PM. |
