I recently tried iPC 10.5.6 PPF5 and installed it successfully on my new Asrock 790gxe/128m (AMD 780g Chipset SB700 Southerbridge) and first it failed. Then I used my sisters computer to install and it worked but the booting and loading was very slow. I believe the 9800gtx+ video card drivers or the chipset drivers are the problem. I tried using an alternative and one deleted the boot.plist file and then I used the nvdarwin 512mb and that did not work altogether.

I have also tried using the fix by nicholasblocks (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lof...p/t129235.html) and it has a Still Waiting for Root Device error. I am almost ready to give up on this but if anyone would mind helping me out, much appreciated.

The HDD is a 80gb IDE HDD and I have installed seatbelt and sata icon fix as stated from osx86wiki
