OK Couple of things....

Which exact version of iPC? Also, what did you install, that is, item by item? Here is an example:

Base System
Drivers
Legacy Time Machine Fix
Chipset
YOUR SATA
Audio
YOUR AUDIO
Ethernet
YOUR ETHER
USB Drivers
Patched USB
FixPatch
PS/2 Device Support
PS/2 Keyboard Fix (use this if needed. I use mac kybd so I left it off)
DSDT
Patch DSDT
AppleSMBIOS Patch
AppleSMBIOSResolver
Applications
load all, check top level item which will select all underneath

This is from the 10.5.6 universal final. This is the outline of what worked for me, that is, with my specific items inserted. If this is your version, you could very well try what is listed above, choosing the correct audio, chipset, and ethernet. (I installed my video kext after the load, though you may do b4 if it is available) As for your specs, you did not mention an important one. Chipset. Typically ICHx. Also might want to check your bios, if it supports AHCI, use it. If problems persist, might want to consider having only the HD you are loading on the system while you are loading it. (I really don't know if that is a factor, just an offhand suggestion) Come back with more detailed info, or try what is above and report.

Intel DG43NB, ICH10, Ethernet Intel 82567V, Audio Realtek ALC888VC, nVidia 9400 GT, Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33 GHz, 4GB, SATA WD 500GB, DVD Sony DRU-865S

God made man knowing his new creation would not live up to Gods' own standards, so God gave him a loophole, ignorance. Now man can exist in their imperfect state and God won't have to squish him. So, if I am ignorant at times, chill. God made me that way.
