Angry iTunes gives kernel panic when importing songs

Hey guys,

I have had an issue for a while. I have tried to import my songs into iTunes (6500+). I get a kernel panic after ~500 songs.

I have also tried importing my iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml. These did nothing. I even tried the whole iTunes folder. It imported a few of my converted songs.

I guess I could try import in batches of 500 or so songs but that wouldnt explain the kernel panics.

Thanks.

How would I do that? All I get is the 'you need to restart your computer' message.

Insert this into your boot.plist:

Code:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>debug=0x100</string>
This gives you a diagnostic kernel panic rather than the "You need to restart".

It looks like you have 4GB of ram + applenforceata, that is your problem, you need a special kext to allow for, 4GB of ram. Get it here
