Crash
What hardware are you running on? Post your crash report. Try to post just the thread that crashed & the type of crash. The type of crash is listed at the top and should look something like:
Code:
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x1718b000 Code:
Thread 0 Crashed: Also if you are not getting a crash report or have inadvertently turned it off you can use this command in Terminal: Code:
defaults write com.apple.CrashReporter DialogType prompt MOBO: Z77MX-QUO-AOS CPU: Core i7 3770K GPU: MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC Case: Modded MacPro2,1 Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance (CMY32GX3M4A1600C9) Wifi: Airport Extreme bcm94321MCA BIOS: HermitCrab Labs H3A.816M Monitor: AOC Q2963Pm 29" WFHD 2560x1080 21:9 Interests: KDE on Apple Darwin, Keeping it real with the command line, Helping those that help themselves Last edited by lanceomni; 12-11-2008 at 02:29 PM. |

crash report
It doesn't show the crash report? Check this post out http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiver...hp/t87966.html It talks about issues with AppleSMBIOS.

Crash Report
No Problem
Usually if you look through the report you will see: Thread 0: bla bla bla Thread 1: bla bla bla Thread 2 Crashed: important information important information important information The crashed threads would be what you would want to post along with the type. So your fix wasn't anything to do with AppleSMBIOS?
