WDC WD750 - The funny thing is that it worked fine (Read only) in Leo4Allv3 but I am trying to get Zeph Rev.2 (Read/Write) to recognize it all. I am just wondering if it has anything to do with the ntfs-3g software

I have tried many ways but still I end up with the same problem, I have tried intall different kernels but its the same problem.. does any one have this issue after finishing the installation! HFS: created HFBT on Leopard IOATAContraller device blocking bus. IOATAContraller device blocking bus. I will stay with Zephyroth Leopard AMD 10.5.2 Rev.2 until he will make a new release with 10.5.3 |

Here is what I found out:
- Booting seems VERY slow (nForce 4) - Changed background picture is not so fine. The pic itself is nice, but it doesn't belong on an installation DVD. Installation options: - No default language is selected if you use another language at installation - The kernel files should get an own folder - Some ATI gfx drivers are marked as PCI. Shouldn't it be PCI-E? Explain which kind of drivers they are, it's ATIinject. - 3rd-party files - hmmm... not everyone's choice, especcially all in one big package. During installation: - First DVD ever (of about 20) which failed the DVD integregrity check - on a new media. It worked after the 2nd try. - couldn't say if it installs quicker. After reboot: - I installed ATI X1600 PCI (?) driver and had no picture - with AGP driver it worked, on a PCI-E machine. Try to explain the differences better. In the system: - The whole package of 3rd-party apps was installed, I'm sure that I unchecked them. - 'options' script in /root is visible. Doesn't look so good. But after all these negative things - the system seems to be ok. No visual changes like in Kalyway, System Prefernces panes are all actual, Toast is working, PPC is working and - as the first image ever - mounted Video DVD images can be played! That's the biggest difference of all other images. eddie: Rework the installation DVD a bit, make a better description and sortation of the extensions. Check that there's the same language selected as in the installation used. The languages listed on first place at the top look a bit weird - I would place them beneath the kernel folder. WIth the visuals and 3rd-party apps - I'm not a friend of things like this. You don't know which changes or additional programs the users wants or needs, so leave the installation DVD as original as it was. Especcially 3rd-party progs are a problem, either there's already outdated or it's cracked software - CandyBar, AppZapper and more. LiteIcon is a prog like CandyBar, but it's freeware. Hint: Try to create a DVD in which the PPC code of the most apps is removed so that iLife '08 fits on it, that would be great. 2 Opteron systems: OSx86 10.5.8, Andy's 9.8.0 kernel, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, Opteron 185 o'clocked @ 2 x 2,95 GHz (2nd system 2.6 GHz), ATI Radeon HD2600XT 256MB Dual-Monitor 2x HP L2035, 4 GB RAM, Griffin FireWave as main audio device, Marvell + nForce LAN, Asus U3S6 USB3/SATA6 card, 5,5 TB harddisk, Firewire 800 card, Apple Remote + eHome IR receiver, 2x Wacom serial graphics tablet, Canon Pixma iP4700, Logitech Internet Navigator wireless keyboard/mouse combination. I feel like an idiot.
I downloaded the torrent. I get 36 RAR files, but don't know how to create the iso image. I tried Disk Utilities, but couldn't boot from the resulting .dmg or .cdr. I know there are some tutorials, but can't seem to find them. Rick ![]() |

Try a program which could extract splitted RAR-Archives. I added RARexpander for the Mac, it's small and easy to use.
The file is not an rar archive, it's an .dmg, so you have to rename it. It's difficult to upload some file types here. 2 Opteron systems: OSx86 10.5.8, Andy's 9.8.0 kernel, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, Opteron 185 o'clocked @ 2 x 2,95 GHz (2nd system 2.6 GHz), ATI Radeon HD2600XT 256MB Dual-Monitor 2x HP L2035, 4 GB RAM, Griffin FireWave as main audio device, Marvell + nForce LAN, Asus U3S6 USB3/SATA6 card, 5,5 TB harddisk, Firewire 800 card, Apple Remote + eHome IR receiver, 2x Wacom serial graphics tablet, Canon Pixma iP4700, Logitech Internet Navigator wireless keyboard/mouse combination.
