I tried Leo4Allv3 on an SATA>USB drive. It boots all the way through to the blue screen, than switches to a dark gray screen with the spinning disk. Having already installed Zephyroth's 10.5.2, I have a pretty good idea of which options to choose during install. I don't know if the USB drive has anything to do with it, but will install to a Leo partition I had running before and report back.

If it's Youtube, it could also be a networking problem. Download TubeTV http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24679/tubetv
and play it in there if the same error occurs. Then download a movie and play it with Quicktime.

I'm not sure if Quicktime plays .flv files normally, other wiese you need the Perian plugin. It's a plugin for nearly every file format.

DVD worked flawlessly here, first perfect OOTB experience.

Well almost perfect, got stuck at the 'Do you already own a mac screen' thing. ./options fixed this, quick and easy, a very good utility.

As for the installed system, boot times are a bit slow, but once up, everythings fine (including sleep using the sleep kernel )

Dell Inspiron 531
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM
320 GB Samsung SATA HD
MCP61 Chipset (nForce 430)
nVidia 8600GT
ALC888 Sound

Everything was provided for it, and thanks to p-J for the recommendation
