i whiped the whole hdd. so i could do a clean install of leopard. so i whiped out vista. and formatted to hfs+ journaled. this is the set up i have sitting on my screen tell me if its a go or no.

ToH kernel 9.2.0, AC97 Audio Drivers, Nforce 2/3/4/5 chipset, NVinject Go, Forcedeth driver, Broadcom wireless Driver, efi v8 for MBR

Seems good.

My setup is ToH kernel 9.2, AC97 Audio Drivers, NForce 2/3/4/5, NVinject 640 + NVIDIA KEXTS (don't forget to check it too) + forcedeth + efi v8 mbr

This seems to be the best hackintosh DVD ever made.

Got a Tiger Partition still Incase I ever need it, wont get rid of her for a while yet on the hack. The hack is mainly used by my parents as a Browsing computer and by me as a file server. Gotta keep them up to date.

do i need to check the nvidia 10.5.2 kexts. last install i did it just left me with a hanging cursor. and the install was similar but had more drivers in stalled.

You MUST check BOTH NVIDIA KEXT AND NVINJECT

ok i will install right now to see if any difference. what do i do if i get the hanging cursor again? because that is the only thing holding me back. and right when i booted the dvd again i went to disk utility and erased the harddrive and partitioned it again

I don't know ...
Maybe reinstall again without selecting any kernel so mach_kernel 9.0.0 SSE2/SSE3 will be installed.

Ha ... finally ... got it up and running.
System is running fast and stable. Netsurf without freeze (as you can see).
Only 3 problems left (actually 2 of those are the same as under 10.5.1):

- No QE/CI with my Quadro FX 3400
- Only one core recognized (I hope this is not the fix for the netsurf-freeze ... I hoped for a more elegant solution )
- Samsung S203B S-ATA DVD is not recognized (worked without problem under 10.5.1)

Any ideas on how to get my system really perfect ?

How did you get the forcedeth driver to be stable without running with cpus=1?
