@ dannysaucedo
I cant find what to do either. I have been searching the forums for three days. My situation seems to be pretty unique though. Where most people freeze for 30 seconds with a "IOKitWaitQuiet()" error than resume booting; I get a kernel pannic. This is so frustrating.

com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components:
use only one style.

this is the kernel panic i see. are there any kext that i have to delete for it to boot correctly.

Same problem here.
I have exactly the same screen as dannysaucedo's before I install leopard.
I have Althon64 X2 4200 and NForece4 SLI, with a 80G IDE HD for leopard. Two other SATA HDs but only for windows.
