Lightbulb MacOS on iPhone?

It has to be possible somehow! I know you smart people can find out more than I can. maybe we could even work together on something...any ideas? iPhone 2g or 3g it does not matter, but I only have the 2g.
Thanks for any help or any comments at all would each be appreciated very much.

iPhone is already running a cut down version of mac osx, you need to read a bit before you post.
You will never get leopard on iPhone it is not ever going to work with the touch screen system.
Your idea is pretty advantagious.
Good luck

Thats why that had to create another layer called "Cocoa Touch"...

watch the keynotes... then rethink it.

There are ways of having vpns to a system already. see: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/M...286470485&mt=8

This is not the system, nor can it be made to be an OS X System like you and I enjoy... at least not exactly the same. Good luck.

Question Tablet?

Maybe it can be used as a type of tablet of some sort? I have seen someone hook a small keyboard up to the iPhone....I believe it was on www.engadget.com ?

well I don't want to discourage the idea, just look at the linux booted on the iPhone recently... that was huge and will open the door to many hacks using linux... Linux will probably also get the "Touch" update that Cocoa had for the iPhone.

keep at it though.. maybe it can be done using the Cocoa Touch capabilities. Its got potential.
