New radeon framebuffer (by dong if i am correct) will enable resolution switching so native resolution can be used with this gfx chip. I tested it on Snow Leopard. No CI-QE with this graphic card yet and i have very little hope that hardware acceleration will ever be supported.

Before my laptop's mobo died and replaced me a new laptop, I could have 1280x800 but no CI/QE... Not even WiFi either sound... It was worthless.

so is it possible to change resolution with an HD 3450 on SL 10.6.2?
