Okay, I am trying to get the Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI install installed on my friends AMD laptop, the disc loads the Mac OS installer, lets you go through the language option, the licensing questions you have to agree to, and when it gets to the part where you choose where to install it, it holds. There is no HD in the box to chooose, the Back Button is still highlighted, but that is it. Is he going to have to repartition his drive as unallocated space? And then use Disk Utility to partition and erase it as Mac OS Journaled Extended and GUID?
I am stuck and any help would be great, thanks! |
