Hi guys,
Photoshop seems to crash a lot lately (happens more often the longer I use it) It's not just a crash, after adobe quits to desktop my other apps freeze (itunes for instance) and then the whole pc freezes shwing the spinning logo and I have to to a reset. Now I don't know how many of you actualy do productive stuff on the your hackintoshes but it's pretty darn annoying to have to reset everytime. I'm pretty sure it's AMD related so does any of you who use photoshop for a long period of time have this issue? The normal startup crash (which is fixed with the patch) is not related to this, I think. Hope you guys can help me out with this one cause the more I do productive stuff (actualy work with the hack) the more I get into big issues. Snow, did you use the Adobe Anticrash Files?
However, I use an original Adobe CS3 Design Premium Creative Suite, and it works very well! |

Pff guys, k, here goes. I recently installed the english version of PS CS3 for the sake of follwing tutorials. Before this I was using the Dutch version so guess what, forgot to patch with Marvin.
I just came back from patching so I will let you know if it still occurs, but I doubt it will. Puttabong, about the anti crash, this only has a startup issue so it crashes right away, nothing to do with this issue. Odd though that sometimes the patch is neccesary and other times the serial works without any patch. It could be cause I'e modded the english version to the retail but couldn't find the same files to mod the Dutch version, can't remember. So it must have been the naked Adobe files that were messing about. Thx for the speedy replies and help amigos! It still crashes, how odd. I patched it with Marvin but no good, just crashed twice in a row.
I think the english copy is already properly serialized bud, and of course blocked with Snitch. It's odd that patching with Marvin didnt fix this. Any ideas? should I just reinstall PS and start over? Are you using the latest SMBIOS27 revision for CS3? Or older? That could be the most likely reason.
