Holy crap i've had similar problems the other day! I never got the drivers working on my 2600PRO (dev id 9589, some XT's have the same id).

I found a "half" solution:
I 've installed macosx with ati 2600 drivers during installation. After finishing installation and before it boots for the first time i used Code:
mount -uw / (enter) rm -r /system/library/extensions/natit.kext (enter) rm -r /system/library/extensions/Atiradeonx2000.kext (enter) reboot and then i have an almost working ati2600xt (no qe). I am almost satisfied with my new hackintosh 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
