its either the kernel thats on them or the the kexts that are included I know when i tried to install the modbin 9.2.2. kernel i got the reset problem. It uses all 4 cores and your lucky if it goes over 3% usage. There is no problem with 10.5.2 its just the iso builds that have the problem with phenom. A 10.5.1 install thats updated works fine.

i downloadet and burned the 10.5.2

butknow it boots the kernel and then the screen says what the pc is doing(text massages)

and then beore it restarts egain it says

"error :firewire unable to determine security-mode"

then it reboots!

what is the problem?

can anybody help me?

you are better with the 10.5.1 but you may be ok if you just dissable firewire in your bios

when i do that then the error massage does nnot come but it freezes for 10-20 seconds and reboots again....

i disabled everything lol.

looks like you have no choice youll have to use 10.5.1

if you dont try booting the dvd when it says press f8 do so and type -v -f then hit enter
try that

no nothing
it loads a lot of stuff after i typed -v -f .
then it freezes and reboots at the same spot.
shit i thought i could install osx .

maybe something else?
