Success installing 10.5.8

I had success upgrading to 10.5.8. I installed XxX 10.5.6. Then upgrade to 10.5.7 via iDeneb upgrade kit. Then I followed this tutorial...

I did run into some trouble after upgrading to 10.5.8 via Software Update. I was stuck in a endless loop when I tried to boot. This is what I had to do in order to get things rolling. Put 10.5.6 XxX disc into drive. Run installation program. Install ONLY AnV kernel and DO NOT INSTALL SYSTEM SOFTWARE. Restart using anv boot flag. Once I had success, I had to pull out everything that is USB and disable the Airport as soon as it booted up. Run iDeneb 10.5.7 update and "remove kernel" and update kernel to AnV XNU 9.6.0 1.4. Insert kext from Extensions_old folder:

IOUSBFamily.kext, IONetworkingFamily.Kext, IO80211Family.Kext, AppleAirport.kext

Repair permissions and restart. I am sure there was an easier way but I had success this way and I am code-challenged so this worked out nice for me.

GeForce6100SM-M V1.0, 2.51 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+, 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 RAM, 750GB SATA HD, Phillips DVD RW burner, DWA-552 D-Link Wireless N Adapter, MSI NX8400GS 256MB, Onboard AC97 ALC660 HD sound but no ethernet at this time.
