What is the differences between 10.5.6 combo update vs 10.5.6 update?

I have iAtkos 10.5.5 and want to upgrade but i have a few questions. I am unsure what package to download 10.5.6 combo update(668 MB) or 10.5.6 update(372MB). What are the differences between the 2. I have noticed that the combo package is larger. Why is that. Do i need to install 10.5.6 before i install 10.5.7?
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
THANX

combo - upgrade

The combo is the full system and can be installed from any version. The upgrade will only install from the last version. I always download and install the combo to make sure all is good..

note that the combo 10.5.6 is from 10.5.4-10.5.1, if your on 10.5.5 just get the regualr update, also to save your self some trouble just get the 10.5.7 combo.
