Just want to share my experience of 10.5.1 release

"Resolution was very low ... tried Zephyroth NVidia Universal Installer .... But no luck
"my Video card is this on 6150 http://www.nvidia.com/object/mobogpu_nb_6series.html"
"Lan did'nt worked neither my broadcomm wireless"
"DVD writer deteted properly & working perfactly"
"NO QE/CL for me "
"Sata Hdd is readonly"
"No Sound from my Conexant Cx20549 @ nVIDIA nForce 430 (MCP51) - High Definition Audio Controller PCI"

But there are other problem also like
HDD won't boot without DVD in drive
Sometime error comes because of which "Still waiting for root device" comes ( I mean if i try to boot 5 times then 1 time is success rate)

Any suggestions/Solution for my problem

For sound, get AppleAzalia ALC88x kext, it will work for you since we got the same one.
LAN, buy one of those 10$ Realtek cards or find them somewhere if you kept all of your used ones at home.

I have no help on your 6150, it seems that we can't have QE/CI on onboard GPUs that use system memory.

May be I shouldn't trust those Mac Rumors sites. According to an actual version tracker site, MacOSX 10.5.2 is in its last step before being finalized. It shouldn't be long. Zephyroth's DVD can be here today or tomorrow. According to the talk I had with Apple, Rep told me 10.5.2 is in its last stage, RC2 (in Windows Language, lol). Once the final is released, Zephyroth will integrate that update and upload the final copy of rev. 2 on all of our favorite P2P sites. I can't wait. This is going to be great. Let's all consider donating Zephyroth for his efforts! Zephyroth, do you accept Paypal,? :-)

I think we must stop to ask for be beta testers, 10.5.2 will come out in few days and so Zephiroth rel.2 I think.
I think also that Zephiroth is able to contact everyone on this site or on Insanely Mac (by PM, mail, everything) if he needs someone for test. If he don't needs more testers maybe there's a reason.
For me I contributed in testing video drivers on 8800GT, but no beta testing and I am waitng patiently for the release using Zephiroth Rel.1 as my primary system.
So: Good work Zephiroth, take your time, keep us informed on progresses!

I am so excited and can't hardly wait for the 10.5.2 release to be released. Does anyone know if you have to have tiger installed than update to leopard for it to boot properly. Also does anyone know whether my LAN which is: Realtek RTL8201N will be supported in 10.5.2? Also my video card which is: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, and my sound card, Realtek High Definition Audio driver version 6.0.1.5502 will they have compatibility in 10.5.2?

Oh because I am a noob, if I didn't specify any hardware specifications, you can find all about my computer at this page:

Thank You everyone, and thank you Zephyroth for your constant work on the release of 10.5.2.

Hmmm, I don't think there were ever onboard 6150s on real Macs but if somehow can someone can edit the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 or X3100 kexts since they are onboard graphics that use system memory I think.

I hope that the new nForce ATA uploaded by MeDevil are included in 10.5.2 Rev 1.

Hi all,

I realize that zephyroth is still working on the Rev. 2 and will release it when he is ready, however, I was wondering if us Rev. 1 guys could get the updated Nforce LAN drivers (force-deth) in order to use 2 CPU cores without Leopard freezing.

Thanks,

Chagani
