it works on my system, go into disk utility and see of there is any harddrive detected there. if you can see your hd there, it could be you have a different system file type. You need to spare a partition (very easy) and configure a new MBR/GUID partition.

Have you tried waiting life for 1-3 minutes at least? If that doesn't work, restart the installation one last time and look for any specific errors. If there are none, most likely it can be your DVD, what speed did you burn it at? It should be at the lowest, 2X.

I am experiencing random kernel ( need to restart your computer ) panics with this release, something I didn't have with the 10.5.1 release. I am using EFi + mbr and 9.20 kernel. Is it possible to narrow it down somehow ? Does Leopard create any error-logs ?
Help would be appreciating casue this is a bit annoying.

Btw, I have patched all Cpuids with mavericks tool but that didn't help.

Asus a8n sli
amd 64 3700+

allmost everything's working for me now. Tried all kinds off installations process efi mbr efi guid. sometimes I got to the complete process and sometimes (even with the same options) it stopped. But now the hakingtosh is working.

The only thing I can't get going is the smb connection with our windows servers. "connect as" does not work neither teh smb:// options. Same as a lot of people I get a message that the url is'nt right. Someone perhaps has an answer? for this problem. I hate to have to return to 10.5.1 because office 2008 does not run on that one.

Yes, I waited 30mins. However it's not ran. Also, my DVD burner or soft(CDBurnerXP) has 4x-18x only. Then I burned it as 4x.
And I got the error message as following before GUI.

mDNSResponder mDSN_Init Failed SandBox_init error

Don't use CDBurnerXP, I fell into a similar situation. Use SwiftDisc instead.

Hi there,
I followed your guide. Now, I arrive at "Do you ready own a Mac ?" screen. Choose "Do not transfer my information" and then I return the first screen "Before you begin" (my keyboard cannot be identified....)
I have an usb keyboard.
What should I do now? (I tried to boot with -x -s -f)
Is it possible to bypass those screens and configure leopard later....and just use it???
Thanks in advance,

SpY974
