I have tried installing Snow Leopard twice. The first time was a success somewhat. I used the one that had the bootscreen with Hazard over a skull and some wings. The first time I had to boot in safe mode, and couldn't see the whole screen. I rebooted after my external hard drive wasn't recognized (formatted in FAT32). After that, my computer would just restart after the boot screen. All the white text would run through my screen, and then my system would just reboot. I'm not sure whether it has to do with the packages I installed, or me just doing something wrong.

The second time I suffered a similar fate. Except I never got to the desktop. My PC would just restart after all the white text run over my screen after trying to boot with these commands-

-v
-v arch=i386
-v -x -x32 <---- The one that somewhat worked in the first install.
