Help! QE/CI not working on X4500 GMA chip.

Need help. My Lenovo G450 laptop does not recognize my video card. I tried to search in the internet on how to resolve this but ended up at nothing. I tried to look for people who has the same laptop specifications or at least the same but they too could not find any solution for our problem. Could someone try to modify the kext for X4500 GMA? I found a forum that says it can be modified to work for the chip. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Search on www.kexts.com a kext for intel gma 4500 with Qe/CI.
It could be what you are looking for ...

Try it and tell here if you resolve your issue

I already looked for X4500 kext on that link but I can't find anything that can detect and enable my graphics card. Random Question: Do I need to delete graphics kexts from my extensions folder when not in use like NVIDIA and ATI kext's? Does it have a difference if I delete them? Because I'm thinking maybe if I delete the ones I don't need I would make my graphics card work.

Hi,
If you want you can delete them, but it's the same because the unused kexts are not loaded during boot.
I'm thinking that there isn't yet a real solution for intel x4500 graphics card.

No QE or CI at this time ...
