iTAKOS S3 version 2 for intel/amd gives error 11 percent into install

I have no idea why. I was trying to get rid of hazard because I think IATKOS might be better at updating and might run better. But it won't even install properly. I thought IATKOS was built for amds? Doesn't seem like it and I selected the amd kernel in install. Iatkos is only 10.6.3, if I do find a way to install Itako's version do I just update to 10.6.6 without doing anything other then updating? I don't know Hazards bothers me even tho it works fine at 10.6.6, I just don't understand why it takes 1 minute at the logo apple screen each time I boot up the Mac os then it takes another 5 minutes to fully load the harddrive so I don't have to see that rainbow loader. But I'm having 0 luck with Iatkos. I used modcd on both Itatkos and hazards disc.

iAtkos was originally Intel only. As the whole hackintosh scene. They are not now. About the release though, they are both very similar and use the same kernel by default.

To answer your question: there is no way you can update without doing anything else. You always need to back-up your kernel and then restore it because most updates will replace your AMD kernel with vanilla one ( which for obvious reasons is Intel only ).

I think you're fine with Hazard release. Now about the long booting problem - try booting with -v flag and take a look at which points does your computer stop for a long time. This might help to identify the issue.
