Pixelated Colors After Security Update 2012-001 on 9500GT

I installed the Security Update 2012-001 about two weeks ago and after rebooting my system all dark colors were strangely pixelated (on Safari and everywhere else).

Here's an example:

Notice how pixelated it is to the left.

And in Safari (look at the glossy stuff):

I looked at my S/L/E folder after the update and saw that the last modified kexts (on the same day I updated) were the IOGraphicsFamily.kext and the IONDRVSupport.kext. So perhaps that has something to do with it. I tried using an older version of the IOGraphicsFamily.kext but to no avail.

It's a minor annoyance but I would like to get rid of it.

How would I change that? I'm considering just reinstalling the OS as I have no idea how to fix this.
