if you are using the hp 4520, i5 or i3 you will want to use "regular" iboot cd and install retail 10.6.3 SL. This will give you the native resolution of 1366x768x32@60, without changing the pbios in the script.However, I for the life of me cannot update. I always get an early restart or a kernel panic no matter what I do. Any help here??? any help at all? please.

thanks guys for all the great suggestions ..but the question remains once installed with say wrong options how can one get USB etc to work..
I mean is it possible to get say USB port to work with some other kind of tweaking using some kexts etc..
