Hi, I've a very good running Leaopard but now I discovered the new speedstep Kernel and would like to install this one. Is there a good tutorial or can anyone explain the installation process ? Is there anything to be patched later on?
I mean this Kernel (9.2.0 speedstep kernel w/ shutdown fix http://tinyurl.com/yub3k6) Or was the 9.2.0. Kernel in Zephyroth's latest release already a speedstep Kernel? If that is the case I would change nothing of course. ;) Greets faxe |
It's very easy to install a new kernel. The one in 10.5.2 is not a speedstep kernel.
Open a Terminal and type : Code:
sudo -s |
Thanks Zephyroth. :) I will give it a try. Keep up the good work! :D
