did you install 9.2 kernel and graphics update?

azazthot 03-10-2008 09:25 PM

my proc is sse2 only -so i am not sure i can use 9.2..., i gona try new kernel from iatkos. thanx for the tip

I get graphics corruption if I don't use the two together, I would suggest new kernel + graphics update, or old kernel and no update.

As I asked in the other 512mb video card thread, what does Darwin show as your video cards RAM? 512mb or 256mb?

If 256mb, search for my A8N32-SLI, 7300GT thread for details on flashing your video cards RAM so that it will work properly with OSX.

DoiX 03-11-2008 01:33 AM

from the apple site :) search google "apple graphics update"

RLembke 03-11-2008 03:28 AM

I'm guessing your problem is tied to the sse2 then.

installed 9.2 netkas - no panic, but didn"t solve the problem.I wil try to install the graphics update.

Can i instal it "as is" or i need to patch it ? If a patch is needed where can i get it?

Thanx for your help ppl.

The issue is resolved: i put my old geforce 7300gl and now no graphic distortion. the only thing that doesn't work is World of Warcraft - iguess some OpenGL problem.

Where can i chek opengl status?
