d-spice, boot up with the flags maxmem=4096 and busratio=20 and you can patch using marvins, just done mine this second although I still cannot boot without maxmem=4096. Going to use kexthelper now...

ok some progress.. instead of using the -force64 flag on boot try using maxmem=4096 and busratio=20, that way it boots normally and applications seem to work fine.
