HP DV6812NR Kernel Panic
I get this kernel panic every single time I try to boot up OSX, I get the same in Leopard and Snow Leopard. I know its know the kernel because IDeneb loads up the CD and I can Install but afterwards...

I would just do a Retail Install. Distros don't always get what you need and you start from scratch. I would use EMpire-EFi and the once you installed the OS and booted into it with the Empire-EFi CD...

When you boot just boot from the extrnal hdd. ig you want you could install chameleon and whenever you boot from the external hdd you could select to boot into...
