Get all ppf patches for the image, it should work. If it doesnt help, youll have to add proper kexts for your sata drive to the mkext package on the dvd ( there are apps made for manipulating those...

does it really have to be NAS ? USB external drives are much cheaper and they all work great with Time Machine. I`d suggest you to get one. If it must be NAS well, i have no idea about them.

omg, you serious ? :D maybe..hmm, try to reinstall them all from dvd ? i dunno, sry :) some time ago i accidentaly deleted extensions folder in -s mode, copying them from dvd helped.
