Ah. Figured it was probably something with the bootloader. That's ok. I've got this thing purring pretty good except for sleep. I'm sure a chameleon update'll throw 64bit EFI in there soon enough....

Same thing here. No mkext, no permissions repair. It doesn't error, it just says complete after less than a second. If i could fix those and get my dsdt to compile i'd have a near vanilla install.

I'm assuming you did this, but you didn't mention whether you checked the CD/DVD settings in System Prefs. Barring that, perhaps there's a kext built in to the iPC disc that allowed it to recognize...
