the intel kernel is vanilla.. meaning it supports the original kext files from a real mac because its intel... the amd kernel is patched in order to work on this type of processor, vanilla is better...

When ever i adjust the color of a picture in preview and try to save it, preview crashes, i don't know if its because i don't have qe/ci or some other reasons.
