I think that's the Acer recovery data for operating system, it's a hidden partition but should not interfere with your installation of Mac OS X.

Maybe it found something wrong with your harddrive identified as no 3 in your system, s3 could be paritition 3 on it? Just guessing here, but the error is weird. Try disconnecting all your harddrives...
