i had the same issue.. i did not use any...
i had the same issue.. i did not use any bootloader initially, then after 3 installs i realized i have to. now im using the darwin bootloader that comes with it. I get the message No Bootable device...

i initiall had shrunk an NTFS partition using...
i initiall had shrunk an NTFS partition using Windows 7 and then formatted it using disc utility from the OS X install disc. its 20GB. My BIOS screen comes up fine but nothing else shows up.!!
