Crash

What hardware are you running on? Post your crash report. Try to post just the thread that crashed & the type of crash. The type of crash is listed at the top and should look something like:
Code:
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x1718b000
You should be able to look through the threads and find the one that crashed should look like:
Code:
Thread 0 Crashed:
Ive ran CS3 on Kalyway 10.5.2 & after upgrading to 10.5.5 and have not had too many problems. Also check in System Profiler and see if you have QE enabled on your graphics card. I found that some apps would load the splash screen and then when it started loading the rest of the interface it would crash due to not having QE enabled.

Also if you are not getting a crash report or have inadvertently turned it off you can use this command in Terminal:
Code:
defaults write com.apple.CrashReporter DialogType prompt

crash report

It doesn't show the crash report? Check this post out http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiver...hp/t87966.html It talks about issues with AppleSMBIOS.

Crash Report

No Problem

Usually if you look through the report you will see:

Thread 0:
bla
bla
bla

Thread 1:
bla
bla
bla

Thread 2 Crashed:
important information
important information
important information

The crashed threads would be what you would want to post along with the type.

So your fix wasn't anything to do with AppleSMBIOS?
