[Solved] Boot disk copy problem
I am having trouble making a back-up copies of my boot CD disk. When I make a copy on another Mac (an Apple iMac) and test it out on my Hackintosh, it either doesn't read it (and won't boot) or—when I make a copy using a very old copy of Roxio Toast Lite 5.2L—I get the error :
ISOLINUX 3.63 2008-04-10 Copyright 1994-2008 Peter Anvin Isolinux: Disk Error 04, AX=4271, drive FE I'm new to the Hackintosh world (and PCs). So please pardon my sounding like a novice. I received this Hackintosh from another person. The boot CD disk I've used works fine. It's just the copies don't work. Does anyone know why and what I can do to get around it? Well, I solved my own problem. I downloaded a free 30-day trial of
CDRevolution - 1.13 It burned a copy of my boot disk flawlessly. Zenopolis is the name of the developer. Now my hackintosh starts up fine. I'm going to make a couple more copies before it expires! 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
