AFAIK Apple cut off SCSI support at Intel Macs totally after 10.4.1 (my Adaptec Ultra2940U2W card was working only in Tiger 10.4.1 Hack). Did your SCSI controller was working previously or this is your first install? |

@ryoken : Thanx for your help.
It's the first install on this computer. I have another one with SAS drives, it's the same problem. Seems that everybody uses SATA or IDE ? Strange ! Thanx again for the info, iero. |

Has anybody installed 10.5.2 on a AMD Turion machine yet and gotten it to work? Well more importantly gotten it to boot?

AFAIK, for MacOS X to work with SAS drive, you'll need Apple SAS RAID Card (or how is it called correctly, dunno much of this ![]() ![]() |

Anybody have the problem when installing, and going into diskutil to partition your drive, the hard drives show up but no dvd's drives show up, like in 10.5.1?

Is a NV raid driver very hard to add , because it needs to be installed first?

I can't see DVD drives in DiskUtility, but I'm never thought this is useful anyway. Mounted Install disk can be seen in Terminal. (sorry my English, not native language

@Ryoken : I have a machine with a LSI chipset (LSI Logicฎ LSISAS1068E 8-port SAS Controller) for SAS : http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en...1-3211286.html
But I cannot see SAS drives neither. i opened a thread about this here http://osx.kbot.de/comments.php?Disc...&page=1#Item_3 but SAS is quite recent and I think that I'm quite the only AMD user to try to put leopard on it... Thanx, iero. |

To anyone having problems with toast i ran marvins utility found in Applications -> Utilities against my root drive and it foung a lot of cpuid's to patch against. Many of them were related to Toast. Once patched Toast ran perfectly.
