Beginner here - will my hardware support?

I'm using Windows 7 Beta build 7000 now, and I wanted to try the OS X on my rig.
Before going on with my hardware, I have a question; will installing this OS X (which I don't know its fully compatible or not) damage my hardware? I mean if it's the OS, just reformat right? But this is the hardware. Will it damage??

Here's a list of my hardware specification
Processor : AMD Phenom X3 8450
RAM :Kingston Value RAM 800MHz DDR2
Motherboard : M3A78-EM using integrated graphics and sound card
Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB SATA II
LG DVD super multi 22x

Will it support?
