Realtek ALC850 8-Channel Sound Issues

Hey gang! Thanks for all the help in getting my system working just the way I want it Now the only issue I seem to be having is with my sound. As you know I have Tiger version 10.4.9 installed on my P4P800-E Deluxe board and everything worked right out of the box, but there is an issue with the surround sound and I am having a very hard time trying to figure out why OS X will recognize the on board sound chip but not allow the full feature of the chip? The front channel works, including the sub woofer, but the middle and back channels do not work? I will continue to search around to find a solution. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
