Why will kalyway work but nothing else?

Hey guys,

Why on my G31M-ES2L can I install kalyway with no customization and yet other distros like iPC and iakatos or whatever won't installl...

I know my video, i know my sound... ICH driver's kinda obvious, vanilla kernel should be fine... what am I not loading or not knowing to load wrong?

Grr...

I wanna get higher than 10.5.4!
