iPC on SB400 "waiting for root device"
I tried everything I could to get the install to start but always gets stuck at "waiting for root device.
I even unplugged all my SATA drives so there's only the IDE HDD on IDE 1 as master and the dvd drive on IDE 2 as master. I've tried -v -f -x flags with rd=discXsY with all combinations of 0 and 1 for X and Y (since I only have 1 dvd drive and 1 hard disk). Nothing seems to work. Should I give up or is there anything else I need to do? Also would any other release (other than iPC) work better for my chipset? OSx86 noob here so detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.
